UMUC Visits for the Fall 2011 Semester
University of Maryland University College will be visiting the Rockville Campus throughout the fall semester to inform students about the MC-UMUC Alliance Program. Representatives will be available to meet with students most Thursdays from 11:00am to 3:00pm and most Tuesday evenings from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the Counseling Building, room 215 through December 8th.
The dates they will not be here are September 29th, October 6th and November 24th.

Benefits of the Alliance Program include:
- Waiver of UMUC's $50 admission application fee if you complete the Alliance admission application before completing your associate's degree. The application can be completed online at www.umuc.edu.
- The simultaneous registrations at Montgomery College and UMUC.
- Access to the extensive University System of Maryland library, tutoring, writing assistance, career counseling, computer labs, and more.
- You will also have the opportunity to apply for the Community College Transfer Scholarship. Scholarship recipients receive $3,300 for full-time study or $1,650 for part-time study. Awards can be automatically renewed. Criteria for the scholarship include: Completion of Associates degree from MC, minimum gpa of 3.0 from MC, submssion of UMUC admission and scholarship application and be a US citizen or eligible non-citizen.
