Frostburg University Associates Degree Scholars Award

Frostburg University has established a FSU Associates Degree Scholars Award. It was first awarded this spring. The award is available to students who graduate from any Maryland Community College with an AA, AS or AAT with a grade point average of 3.0. Certain AAS degrees qualify as well.

The award is worth $1,250 per semester and will be awarded for a total of four semesters if the student enrolls fulltime and maintains a 3.0 grade point average.

Students are automatically screened after they have been admitted to FSU. If the student has attended more than one college their cumulative gpa must be a 3.0. Students must be transferring directly from a community college and students who have already attended FSU are not eligible. In case you haven’t heard about this please spread the word!
